The heat free essay sample

Sarah Suborn and Mullions did not like each other at first because Sarah Suborn did everything according to the defense force manual whereas Mullions Just did everything her way. When Mullions finds out the actual reason why Sarah Suborn is in Boston, she gets angry and decides to take on the case herself, because she thought that Sarah Suborn was using the case as a breakthrough for her career, whereas Mullions Just wants to solve crime and make Boston a better place to live In. When this happens, Mullions gets herself In a predicament and Sarah Suborn saves her. This Is where they learn that they really care about each other and made peace. I thought that the relationship between Mullions and Sarah Suborn was very interesting because they hated each other but still figured out a way to put their differences a side and solve the case. In the beginning of the film, Sarah Suborn came across as being a very uptight person who didnt really care about others but herself. This is shown in the scene where theyre interviewing a potential suspect. Suborn: Are you about to be interrogated by an officer? Mullions. ; l am an officer and thats my per. Sarah Suborn: Could you Just close the door on the way out. Mullions: Ill shut the door on you. Will you lay down here and put your head In the door and Ill slam It about 157 thousand times? I think the reason why they TLD get along at first because they were both bossy and werent willing to hear each other out, and they were in competition with each other rather than working with each other. This is shown in the scene where the detective tries to tell them all the evidence that he has found and instead of listening to him, they tried to act like they knew what he was about to say and finished off his sentences, even though they were incorrect most of he time. I really disliked how the way Mullions Family treated her.For example, Mullions put her brother In Jail for possession of drugs and her family did not approve of her decision. As a cop she had to do this, but her family was not understanding of this. Instead, they made her feel Like she wasnt welcome to her family anymore. This Is shown when she goes to her mothers house and everyone Just stares at her and asks what she is doing there. Mullions brother, Mark: What are you doing here? Did we ask you sister. Mullions Mother: mirror brother has a point, why are you here? We hate narks. Get out of my house. Even though they knew that her brother committed a crime, they couldnt understand why she put him in Jail. She tried to explain that the reason why she put him in Jail was to protect him from the drug lord who was trying to kill him. Even though they made her feel so left out, she made sure they were okay by sending them money every week because they were a poor family. I would not recommend this film to my fellow year 12 students because its predictable and a tad boring.
